Zimmer, Citron & Clarke LLP Welcomes Rachel Shalev as Senior Counsel
BOSTON, Mass. — Zimmer, Citron & Clarke LLP announced today that Rachel Shalev has joined the firm as Senior Counsel, further strengthening the firm’s nationally recognized appellate practice.
Shalev joins the firm with a background in high-stakes appellate litigation and complex motion practice. After clerking on the Supreme Court for Justice Stepen Breyer, and for Judges Cornelia Pillard (D.C. Circuit) and William Fletcher (Ninth Circuit), Shalev spent nearly a decade in the Supreme Court and appellate practice at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe. Her addition comes as Zimmer, Citron & Clarke expands its role in groundbreaking appeals and impact litigation across the country.
“Rachel is an exceptionally sharp appellate lawyer,” said partner Edwina Clarke. “She has a knack for cutting through complicated problems, and she writes with both precision and grace—which makes her a perfect fit for our practice and our clients.”
At Zimmer, Citron & Clarke, Shalev will work alongside the firm’s other attorneys to brief cases involving complex commercial disputes, constitutional law, mass torts, antitrust, environmental issues and other issues. The firm has earned national attention for its work in courts across the country and for handling cases that shape developing areas of law.
“I’m thrilled to join such a talented team committed to tackling the toughest and most meaningful cases,” said Shalev. “The attorneys at Zimmer, Citron & Clarke think deeply, write crisply, and fight hard for their clients. And they’re also terrific people. I’m excited to dig in.”
